Is it by air, road or rail? Either way your journey to Nendaz in the Verbier region of the Swiss Alps will be easy. The holiday travel information in this section should help you decide which is going to be the best way for you.

As the main change over day for other tour operators is Saturday, we prefer to change over on Sundays. There are many positive aspects on this decision. You have the whole Saturday to pack and make last minute arrangements and preparations. You’ll find cheaper flights and airports and roads are much quieter. On your last day the pistes and the mountain tracks will be less crowded as everyone else packs and heads home.

• By Air… Geneva is the closest major airport, just under 2 hours away from Nendaz. Flights into Geneva are available from most international airports. British Airways, Swiss Air or EasyJet all fly to Geneva from numerous airports in the UK. From London Stansted airport you can fly direct to SION with SNOWJET where the resort is only a 25min drive away with our free of charge pick up service.
• Private Mini Bus… From Geneva to Nendaz we offer a comfortable private minibus transfer. Our chauffeur will pick you up at the airport so you can enjoy the beautiful landscape along Lake Geneva and down the Rhone-Valley. The journey takes just under 2 hours. For prices please do contact us.
• By Rail… Should you wish to discover the Swiss Railway system then hop on a train in Geneva which will bring you right into the city of Sion, situated at the foot of the road down from Nendaz. A free transfer from Sion up to Saclentse/Nendaz is included in the package price.
• By Road… If you travel from the UK or any non mountain areas, please be aware that your car should be ready not just for the journey, but also for a high altitude environment with snow and freezing conditions. In the winter a 4×4 vehicle is advised, snow tyres and/or snow chains should be carried, as certain streets within the village are on steep hills. As each country has its own rules of legal requirements we recommend that prior to your home departure you visit the RAC website to make sure that you have a safe and uninterrupted journey to and from our luxury chalet in the Alps.

• children under 7 – cannot travel in front seats in Switzerland without child restraints
• motorway tax/vignette – must be paid when entering Switzerland. It costs 40SFR or 30Euro, and is valid for a year.
